Definition
Mooning is the chart going straight up. Could be a listing, a viral tweet, a narrative flip, or pure reflexivity. Percentages stop looking real — 3x, 10x, 50x in a week on a low-cap memecoin is normal during a mania.
The trap: every moon eventually tops. If you're buying during the moon, you're buying from early entries taking profit. Plan your exit before you need it, scale out into strength, and don't assume a vertical chart keeps going vertical.
